POSITION TITLE: Welder/Fabricator
DEPARTMENT: Shop
REPORTS TO: General Manager

Job description
SUMMARY OF POSITION: Anchor Machine & Fabrication is looking for an experienced welder/fabricator
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be skilled and experienced in welding on steel, stainless steel and aluminum using mig, tig and stick welders
- Will be required to do fabrication work
- Will be required to work in various shop temperature conditions
- Will be required to work in confined spaces when necessary
- Will be required to perform mobile service work
- Will be required to work overtime and weekends when necessary
- Able to read shop drawings required
- Must be team oriented
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Basic tools required
- Must be able to pass criminal background check and MVR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Physically able to lift a minimum of 85lbs
- Work outside in all weather conditions
- Must have current driver’s license and clean driving record
- Forklift experience a plus
Tools/Machines Used:
- Welders, (MIG, TIG, STICK)
- Grinder, chipping.
- Pneumatic tools, wrenches, impact wrenches, hand tools, hammers.
- Pry bars, drills, saw.
- Shears, lathes, drill press, brake press, burner table.

POSITION TITLE: Machinist
DEPARTMENT: Shop

Job description
Anchor Machine & Fabrication, LLC. is looking for a skilled Machinist to operate a variety of machines to perform assigned tasks. You will produce or repair precision parts using both manual and automated equipment and accurate measurements. A great machinist needs to possess manual dexterity and an eye for detail. They must have knowledge of mathematics and mechanics as well as respect for safety precautions. The goal is to ensure effective production operations and optimize procedures.
Responsibilities
- Review samples, drawings or instructions to understand specifications of output
- Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job
- Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping
- Select appropriate machines (e.g. lathes) and position or load material for a job
- Determine and program size of batches, speed of machine etc.
- Monitor machine while working to adjust the feed, maintain temperature and identify issues
- Check output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects
- Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
- Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages
Skills
- Proven experience as machinist
- Experience in using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines (lathes, grinders etc.)
- Ability to use precision tools (e.g. calipers) to take accurate measurements
- Knowledge of the properties of metal and other material
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
- Good at math with analytical abilities
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of vocational training or an apprenticeship will be an asset

Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Full Time
Monday – Friday
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Tampa, FL
Primary work on boom trucks and truck cranes.
Frequent work on rough terrain cranes, rough terrain forklift lifts and boom lifts.
Sometimes work on crawler cranes, excavators and other dirt equipment.
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical problems, hydraulic problems, electrical problems, etc
Remove and disassemble telescopic booms; reassemble with new parts.
Remove, disassemble, clean, reseal and reassemble hydraulic cylinders.
Troubleshoot electric problems with LMI & other electric systems.
Remove, disassemble, clean, reseal and reassemble planetary gear assemblies.
Getting dirty required.
Lifting heavy objects required.
Operating heavy equipment required.
Service calls required but not frequent.
Overtime is not frequent.
Experience required.
Tools required.
Reliable transportation required.
Successful drug test required.
Uniforms provided.
8 paid days off annually.
