We knew it was a mess but when it pulled in, well, lets just say pictures didn’t do it justice.
Among other parts of the crane the whole counterweight structure was destroyed and had to be rebuilt.
The engine, transmission, outriggers and more had to be completely stripped to gain access to the frame rails. New steel was ordered, fabricated and welded in place for new frame rails as the originals were destroyed.
Fast forwarding to setting the boom assembly and operational testing. Witnessing the load test couldn’t have come sooner!

More Labor…just loading it onto the trailer upon it’s departure was an all day affair!
